5Transferring PC headsets to Apple  Mar 27, 2010 By Alexander I. Nosnik "Happy Customer"
I have never before been so impressed with the simplicity, yet great effectiveness of a product.

The headset buddy allowed me to transfer my high quality, and well loved, PC headset to my Apple Macbook. I became convinced that I would not be able to make this transition, as the technologies (PC vs Apple) are totally conflicting for headsets. I searched and searched, but it was not until I found the headset buddy that the transition was as easy as plugging in the USB converter to my Macbook, and then plugging in my beloved PC headset to the headset buddy. It was as easy as that. In a matter of seconds, I was making international business calls using Skype with the clarity and consistency I had grown to love from my PC headset.

I would recommend the headset buddy to anyone, especially those trying to bring their trusted PC headsets to their new Apple.

5Adapter for headset  Feb 11, 2011 By Mobarn
I used this with my Dragon Naturally speaking software, that allows me to speak and it turns to text. The software came with a mic that did not work with my system. This adapter allowed me to bypass the sound card on my older machine and now My Dragon software works great. It was better than buying another 50.00 headset to make the software work.

5Review for PS3 users  Jan 01, 2011 By NYCGreg "Snarky Tech Guy"

I bought this for my PS3. It works perfectly.

It only gives you voice chat, the game sounds still come from your TV.

I opted for this because 1) I like my PC headset better 2) I don't like to put radio transmitters next to my brain, so had to be wired 3) I prefer only voice chat to my headset, not game sounds.

Based on what I wanted, this purchase was 5/5.

PS - If you have a PS3 slim, plugging this in will block the buttons on the adapter. Fortunately I never had to touch the buttons so I don't care.

5LOVE THIS THING!  Apr 20, 2011 By T. Williams
Was pissed when my new laptop came with only single headphone jack because it took me years to find headphones/mic that I liked, but they require separate jacks. Good USB headsets are expensive so this seemed like a good option. Was a bit skeptical, but read the reviews and liked what I heard. Now it arrived, installed easily plug & play, and works GREAT with all my videoconferencing apps. Highly recommend this.
